About Us

Hello! My name is Charity Weaver, I have owned Pembroke Welsh Corgis for over 15 years. Growing up riding horses I desperately wanted a Corgi! After years of waiting and researching I finally purchased my first Corgi in 2005, his name was Dieter and it was love at first sight! After adding to our Corgi herd multiple times, in 2014 I began showing Corgis in AKC Events, in 2015 I put my first Obedience Title on our girl Lily, and in 2017 Charlie gave us our first AKC Conformation Champion! Since then we have shown our dogs in numerous shows, titled several dogs, and produced some incredible puppies!

Here at DWC Breed Standard, Health, and Temperament are the cornerstones of our philosophy! We firmly believe that improving the breed starts with responsible breeders who do in depth health testing before breeding. We test for the following genes Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) and Von Willebrand's (vWD). We also have a CERF exam done on their eyes to certify that they are free of heritable eye diseases, and have hip x-rays taken and reviewed by the OFA to check for signs of hip displasia.
